Join volunteers from the Forever Flowing Foundation at a rally to remove Winchester Dam, at 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the intersection of Del Rio Road (Umpqua College Road) and Hwy. 99 (Oakland-Shady Hwy.) in Roseburg, Oregon, near exit 129 of Hwy 5. There’s free parking in the lot 3/10 of a mile south of the rally location, at the Winchester Dam fish ladder viewing area parking lot.
Bring protest signs and comfortable shoes.
August 2023 “repairs” at Winchester Dam resulted in the largest fish kill on an Oregon River in 2023. Let’s stop them before they do it again. The only thing standing between Douglas County, and economic prosperity is the Winchester Dam. It’s time to bring down the dam, and ring back the fish and the jobs.
