The owners of the Winchester Dam were recently fined by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality for pollution. The dam is 50 feet upstream from the pipe where Roseburg gets its water. Their poison is your water.

Roseburg’s drinking water supply is poisoned with the copper, chromium, and arsenic that leeches out of Winchester Dam’s hundreds of pressure treated lumber and creosote coated railroad ties.

During the botched repairs of August 2023, the contractor (Ryan Beckley) dumped hundreds of gallons (from very large plastic containers) of an unknown chemical behind the dam. So far, Beckley’s company has denied using herbicide to control the underwater weeds. WHAT’S IN THOSE CONTAINERS?
